a petal drifts
upon the waves and
here

our warrior tries to
halt the passing time.

but time's no river —
rush and flush,
but oh

it's
more
like
leaves
upon
the
river-stream

where
everyone's a
bottle tightly
shut

and
scared to clash
with others lest
they
break

so people
fear to crack
their glass

and let the torrent come
within; to sway

beliefs would
break; they think
they'd disregard

the whole they've come
to be. they think they'd
drown.

but no. the riverwater
surges here —

you see, the water
springs from not the
void

but deep within; it wants
to break apart

and set itself and
others too upon

a course of beautiful and mutual destruction.
