Inhabitants of the underworld

If the deepest point of the underworld is the Subconscious, the Nothingness, and its surface is the pseudo-images of the inner mind, then does it have something to help the souls here work according to what should happen?

The answer is “yes”, and the creatures that help maintain the works of the underworld are called Chthonian.

The Chthonians are creatures of the underworld, hell whose job is to keep the souls here on their path of purification before they can progress to reincarnation. Chthonian is divided into three types: Shadow-Nrazim-Oldgos.

Shadows or Demons are dark images hidden inside every human being, and thanks to the nature of being a place that reflects all the dark sides of the underworld, those shadows have been given shape, so that a means of cleansing the soul, the self from which it came, by torturing them. The Shadows are said to be creatures of hell and the afterlife, but they also frequently appear in the human world, and according to some documents, even before humans existed. But how can that be? Could things born from the hidden subconscious of humans exist before humanity?

There are many theories for this story, one of which is that when the Shadow achieves a sufficient number of people who believe in its story, it will become reality. Others believe that the afterlife, by its pure nature, is a place of pure subconscious and spirit, so it transcends space and time, allowing all Shadows has existed and does exist, or will exist traveling to the distant past of the world.

No matter what the truth behind the story is, but the fact that the Shadows existed before humans existed is true, and some have even become gods, angels of God. But isn't it true that according to the Bible, demons are fallen angels?

The truth is that is not so, the god we pray to today is actually a liar named Demiurge, and he is so foolish that he mistakes the Shadows that existed before humans as the primordial forces of the earth, and argues that they simply lacked the form to do so. The Demiurge changed the forms of those Shadows into angels, and the first gods of the world. The gods, or angels born from this shadow, despite their pure and beautiful forms, still carry the negative and cruel emotions of demons in hell.

It seems that the nature of the Shadow is more similar to the demon Angra mainyu - a spirit of chaos and destruction in Zoroastrian mythology, who were first-born from time's womb of Zervan, and thus, ruling the world for 9,000 - than the biblical demons. The world that Angra mainyu rules can be a metaphor for humans, that every human being is born with a hidden emotion, even if it is a good thing, it stills affects us whether alive or dead, so we need to learn to perceive and accept it, like how the era of Ahura Mazda emerged after the fall of Angra mainyu.

If the Shadows, or demons, are the gears whose role is to crush sinful souls, then the Nrazim are the engineers responsible for those gears.

Nrazim are neither Shadow, nor spirit, and even nor god, but a species of its own. The Nrazim have a human appearance but have gray skin with no hair in both men and women. Nrazim often dress like British nobility, and often live in gothic castles, with their undead servants.

Nrazim are like the Fae in the fairy tales we often hear, but instead of being fairies of kindness and goodness, Nrazim are fairies of pain and fearsome guardians of the underworld. Although not required, some Nrazim also engage in torturing evil souls as a form of personal entertainment when they do not have any duties to perform.

If you notice anything harmful to the soul's cleansing process, such as a magician who wants to return back into the world, or even a demigod who intends to steal the soul of the underworld. No matter what, the power of an Nrazim will allow it to solve that problem without any difficulty.

But despite their almost demigod power, what chance do the Nrazim have against more powerful entities if they want to take over the underworld? The Nrazim don't have enough power to deal with the old gods outside of creation, but the Oldgos can.

The oldest mortal souls ever exist in this Existence(?). Mortals become gods. The Judge. The Protector - Are words you can use to describe the Oldgos, the old gods of the afterlife, the underworld.

The Oldgos rarely appear and usually only reside in the deepest part of the underworld or the Well of Mouth, but when they appear they take on countless different forms, sometimes walking armor, sometimes when they are masses of corpses clinging and twisting together extremely horribly. Oldgos was not only the leader but also had the responsibility of keeping the underworld, and its souls, from the grasp of entities beyond the reach of the Nrazim.

Powerful and beyond comprehension to the mortal mind is what every old god like Oldgos is but they aren't always like that. According to legend, the Oldgos were once mortals like other humans, but not in this Existence but in an older Existence, and they were chosen to become the old gods of this world after the Existence they lived came to an the end, to give birth to the Existence as it is now.

These legends may be true or may not, but the compassion that the creatures named Oldgos have for humans is as if they were their own kind rather than lower creatures. It is true, Oldgos is easily moved by the prayers of small humans (if they can hears it), and is willing to help these small creatures. But even so, it does not mean they will help us resurrect and leave hell, because that is an obvious thing that must happen.

The legend of the Oldgos seems to show us that the gods are not always transcendent beings but are sometimes even small beings assigned to macrocosmos roles in the cosmic womb. And who knows, perhaps Oldgos are more of a role than a real entity, a role that only those born within reality, among small humans, can understand.
